Stress in everyday life is inevitable. It can only be avoided by dying! Many of the stressors we encounter everyday we handle in our stride; and it is our positive response to these events that provide us with excitement ,challenge and interest. However unresolved stressful situations that have accumulated over time will cause us problems physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils extracted from plants which have therapeutic properties. The oils also have `personalities` or traits e.g such as inducing calm, peace, confidence, joy, reassurance, clarity, perseverance and confidence when used sensitively and appropriately. Whilst Colour Therapy enables you to access the unconscious and conscious language of colour which can alter moods and reduce stress.
During these 10 weeks of classes you will acquire a `tool bag `of techniques to enable you manage the negative effects of stress – some concepts will overlap into two weeks.
